This is 1 of 2 from a series of Reanissance Oil Paintings I did in 1995. I went to a restaurant here in town and while dinning an overwhelming feeling to do this series was born in my head. The actual paintings are almost lifelike they are approximately 5' X 6'. I imediately spoke wtih the owner of the restaurant who displayed them for 1 year. The entire series of 3 paintings took me roughly 3 months painting every waking moment and believe me I enjoyed it immensly. Whilte the photograph does not do the painting justice I though I would post.
